Today's finds: baby pipe fish

For late autumn, today was perfect. Blue blue skies and blue blue sea. We went to the beach with 2 little friends.

We built a huge sandcastle village and I looked at rock pools as it was low tide.

In one of the rock pools there was a baby shortfin pipefish (Cosmocampus elucens) - I found it on this website and its the same one.

It was black and white 'striped' - if you scroll down on the link you will see it (about 13th photo).
