West Beach

These are goose barnacles on a buoy.  They are big ones.  The sea gulls had been eating them before my dad  found it.

This is a cow on the beach eating seaweed.

This beach is very long and smooth and flat.

Rockpools on a western beach

A rock pool with coated rocks, pink seaweek,
limpets and a small fish, just in front of the seaweed.
The coating on the rocks must indicate
something about the water/rocks
as its only found on a couple of areas on the island,
mostly where there are no beaches i.e. only rocks on the shore.
