Lions Mane Jelly Fish

There was a news article yesterday on Yahoo about approx. 100 people who had been stung in the sea. When the area was search all they could find was one huge Lions Mane Jelly Fish. So they think all these people were stung by the same one jelly fish.

They were also reported off Cornwell in June of this year: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/article-1286689/Cornwalls-coastline-invaded-swarms-Lions-Mane-jellyfish.html

A Lions mane Jelly Fish is huge - The further north it is the bigger it grows but usually it is about 2 metres across and its stinging tentacles are about 30 - 100 meters long
